that I'm not procrastinating about finishing my Marx paper.
(It's almost there, gimme a break! On page 6, no conclusion and I only have a vague sense as to whether I've actually answered the question or just randomed about alienation and the valorization of capital for 5 whole pages.... @_@)
Alexis had her big scary Phonetics mid-term today. She said it wasn't as scary as her worst-case scenario, so that's good.
All kinds of crazy things going on over in Becca World. Still haven't been able to talk to her about the recent events... although I've been poking her for like 2 hours...
Goma is enamored with me... or at least my nice and toasty warm lap... and my fuzzy robe, because he keeps coming over to sleep on me... and pat my cheek with his paw in some hybrid of a yawn-knead motion... incredibly cute regardless.
Wrote up notes for the bio article presentation tomorrow... the other girl wants to meet with me at 10:15 to run-over the article quickly before class...
except that I have class until 10:20.. Eh,..heh. ^^;
Emailed her, she'll have to email me anything she had a question about, else it's going to be a bit of a squeeze.
My sister Nina is over her kidney stones... she's in NJ right now visiting her mother-in-law and being stuffed with all kinds of giant portions of food.
Sean will be getting his cyst removed in a week Monday. Shouldn't be too scary, but we're a bit concerned just because any kind of surgery is worrisome for a newborn.
(Goma is sleeping with his face in the crook of my arm. Cuuuuuuute!)
My room is, as ever, ridiculously cold. Didn't help that it was like, in the 30s when I got up this morning. Waking up because you're freezing is a suck-tastic way to start the day.
Need to talk to Kawai-sensei about JAPN 202, and about one homework exercise I kinda fucked up...
if only I could remember this fact before I'm two blocks from home... *sigh*
My little sister's play opens on Friday, I forget what she's playing.. ( but...the highschool administration is being dumb... again )
At least my dad is keeping his commentary about the election to a minimum
(As Goma keeps flopping his head on my arm as I'm trying to type...and putting my arm to sleep. ^_^)
just his usual comments about how it's nice that we have more Republicans in the gov. now, and how he's kinda sad that the one local Rep. he's been supporting and helping campaign got beaten... which is, admirable, for my dad at least...
