So, the dryer for our building just got fixed, so I decided to do laundry
And the $#%&ing machine melted the rubber grips on my slipper socks and shrunk my monkey, pink panther, and donkey socks, as well as ate the googly eyes off of the donkey pair...
Did I mention that this melted rubber brushed off onto other articles of clothing?
One of my shirts and two of my pairs of underwear have blue rubber streaks on them now...
to say nothing of the one sock that got melted to a slipper sock (which I have managed to pull apart finally) and is covered in rubber smudges...
The stupid machine also fried my white bra with the flower from white to dirty yellow and killed all elastic stretch it had and caused a plastic label on another bra to melt into icky smudges as well.
Is it too much to ask for one decent normal load of laundry?
Btw, now we have no back porch. Hopefully the new one will be done soon.
Coming home for Turkey Day. Going to see my sisters, my nephew, my mistress---I mean my girlfriend, no wait, my completely platonic and could in no possibly way be constued as involved with me in a romantic sense of any sort friend, Becca.
(Crap, kinda slipped up there, think Jeremy will notice?)
I wish we had more humidity now, my knuckles are so dry they're in danger of cracking. If only hand lotion felt less like... lotion, I'd use it...
Did big cleaning of the apartment this weekend...
I did kitchen and bathroom floor, bathroom fixtures, dusted parts of the hallway and the dust bunny breeding ground under my desk
Alexis swept, un-cluttered, and reorganized the living room, and it looks tons better
(and now we have places to sit instead of piles of books on everything!)
Sushu has been trying to write her paper all weekend (Ganbatte!!) and hopefully will finish soon and return home to us, because although we love her crazy chewy banana-tasting dessert that involves no banana whatsoever... we love her more <3
*yawn*
Nmmm nmmm, sleepy...
Just a couple more weeks, I can make it a couple more weeks, right?
