So, I wanted a slightly more random book meme, therefore I had Sushu pick numbers for me
And we've come up with p.497, first paragraph, 7th sentence, of Vernor Vinge's A Fire Upon the Deep (Which, consequently, is a pretty good book, if anybody's looking for one.)

I'm almost sad that now I have to return the book to Jono since I've finished it...
not that I have time to do fun reading right now anyway.. *sigh*
