(no subject)

So, Jeremy and I went from Chicago to Ann Arbor
Ann Arbor to East Lansing
East Lansing to Ann Arbor
Ann Arbor to West Lafayette
West Lafayette to Chicago

and last night we went from Chicago to La Grange to have dinner and watch a pagan winter solace celebration with our beloved little half-naked antler-clad pomegranate-terrorizing mochi-pounding Jono =^_^=

The Christmas shindig with my family went great, they liked the presents Jeremy and I picked out.
Kristen gave me TONS of snacks from Trader Joe's, and I am, as promised, the proud owner of one new omelette pan (which I christened by making Swedish pancakes yesterday)
Kristen also gave Jeremy a framed picture of me and him at her wedding (which is, I think, actually the only picture of the two of us together that either of us own ^^;;)

The paternal unit comes to Chicago tomorrow to pick me up, and then the next day we leave for FL.

In the meantime, Jeremy and I will nibble on the snackies and I will continue to be... flattered, perplexed, blushed? that he wants to stay with me in Chicago instead of attend the big Christmas party his friends are having in Ann Arbor tonight

(BTW, books are way too #$^NFGING#% expensive. seriously!)
