Mar. 9th, 2005 09:47 amThere's something inherently satisfying about eating an ice cream sandwich that looks just like a giant Oreo.
Or maybe that's just the 9 grams of fat.
But I get 15% of my daily iron out of the deal, so it's worth it, right?
Got an 'A' on my Japanese homework *dance*
I also stunned Miyachi-sensei today...
It's not my fault, she asks if there are any interesting clubs at the U of C how can I not say Knit 'n Bitch?
But I bet you didn't know that most of the knitting masters in Japan are men!
(Envisioning crappy movie all about knitting fu....
or perhaps a Ranma episode...)
I'm hoping to write my Civ final by Friday, study through the weekend and take Japanese on Monday---with an intermitting breaks being devoted to restoring my sanity or watching anime clips to translate for my LVG project, which is due next Thursday...
so that Jeremy and I can leave for NJ on Friday and get in at a decent hour and go to his aunt and uncle's anniversary shingdig
(Ahh, the wonderful gritty teeth feeling of having finished an Oreo...)
Things to do over Spring Break:
Figure out my Financial Aid form
-Look for a new pair of Jeremy's tennis shoes (which is actually said tenni-shoes) so his feet don't die
-Look for/at cool stuff in NY
-Eat...stuff. Lots of it.
-See if my sisters are on speaking terms again
-Oggle and fawn over my nephew Sean *Squee~!*
-Poke my parents until they realize that when I send them an email, they're supposed to send a reply!
-Poke Becca. She needs poking. *coughcough* Especially because she doesn't call me when she says she will.
-Figure out more stuff with apartments.
-See a movie! Damn, do I miss going out to see a movie...
-Go to the dentist. (Mommy dearest has that one all taken care of)
-NOT do homework. Homework = Boo, icky, no!
ah, and fiddle with CD adapter in Jeremy's car so that we don't have to listen to his bag of tapes or the sucky radio for the whole trip...
(And I had a good dream finally last night.. but I can't remember!)
