Since this week is mostly one walk per day, I've been riding a ridiculous amount of public transit up to the south loop. Which is OK I guess, cus I'm getting paid well for it, it's just uber-hot and annoying.
And despite knowing better, I got my hopes up about a pancake mix, only to have my heart broken again. I thought, well, the last one Jono's mom gave us was good, so this one should be ok, right?
Wrong!
Wrong with a flourish of generic "bread"-flavored unappetizing leavening agent dominated spite!!
Also, upon observation of "smalltalk"'s keboard, 'q' 'z' and 'x' appear to be the least used letters, followed closely by 'v' 'p' and then 'k'. 't' appears to be used the most, then maybe 'r' or 'o'.
In case you were wondering.
Can anyone think of a good reason why I'm always paid cash for walking Spencer?
I mean, it's not really that I mind being paid in cash... it just means that I end up with piles of actual money sitting around because I go through physical dollars much slower than electronic dollars.
I guess if I ever get to be one of those paranoid grandmas I'm going to have to think of something better to do than hide all my money in my mattress. ^^;
My aunt Rae died like last Tuesday or so. As is their predictable way, my family somehow forgot to tell me...
*sigh*
I keep trying to think of what to do in order to fix this ridiculous problem of my family always leaving me out of the loop, but I'm just not sure what the best way to fix it is?
Call my parents/family every week?
Demand they call me every week?
Get a cell phone in the hopes that if they know they can reach me anytime, they'll call me at least sometimes?
Plan visits to glorious Indiana at regular intervals?
I mean, what??
( aunt rant )
Also, Nina leaves bottles of her breastmilk in the freezers of various family members...which through converstaion somehow ended up in me wondering what cheese made from peoplemilk would taste like.
