I almost feel bad saying this, as everybody and theirexcept my mother all told me "not to get too crazy" on my 21st birthday, but
there actually wasn't any alochol involved in my birthday celebration whatsoever... I actually drank more at Jonathan's 21st bday than my own...
*cringes, waiting for the boo's about the lack of booze (and her bad puns)*
But, I still did some fun stuff. Jeremy and I went on our first ever double date. (I think it's the first anyhow..) I thought it was a neat change, going out with another couple, because the statistics of our current demographics seem to favor singles over couples--so whenever we do stuff, it's typically Jeremy + me and a bunch of our friends and if anyone's holding hands or playing footsie under the table, it's me and Sushu---I mean, Jeremy, me 'n Jeremy. yeah....
So after our Dinner of Ridiculously Large Bread on Devon, we stopped into an Indian grocery (which apparently caters to the local Mexican population as well) and pondered the strange vegetables that as general rule resembled things like snozzcumbers and sea cucumbers more than actual cucumbers. Oh, and all of the apples came in their own individual tissue paper squares... why? I have no idea.
Then we dropped Caleb and Ruth home, and stopped at Jeremy's place long enough for him to break into leftovers and for me and Satomi to discuss how we love to eat the bones of fish because they're so calcium-y! From there, we went to Hollywood video and got a free DVD and some ueber-cheap VHS tapes.
What DVD did I get to ring in my 21st year?
The 6th disc of the seventh season of TNG, baby. Oh. Yeah. We watched "Firstborn".
Did you know that Stephen Hawking guest-starred on TNG playing a hologram of himself and that he is the only guest in any Star Trek series to play as himself?
After that, because we couldn't make any of the remotes work and thusly couldn't access the menu to select another episode, we watched Supertroopers at Jeremy's insistence--since none of his highschool friends would ever watch it with him, and it was suprisingly funnier than I thought it would be.

And, um, aside from the various emails and phone messages of people singing me "Happy Birthday," that's the story.
