Apr. 3rd, 2006 12:16 amSkit sewing meeting rocked. It was full of boob conversations, duct-tape torsos, AAAARMS!!, magnetic wands, superfluous gatherings of sewing machines, skillful reorganization and creation of space from no-space, and a complete and total lack of any sense of the passing of time.
I have been working on PHSC all day... and I don't like the new format of the reading quizzes. They give you a set of reading questions, so you answer them, thinking they will be pertinent, which takes for fucking ever... and then you do the quiz, which is timed and does not allow backtracking... and feel completely and utterly unsatisfied with the amount of work you had to do compared with the material the questions asked. Seriously, they only asked two short answer questions, only one of which was actually from the reading questions, and practically none of the questions had anything to do with the parts of the book the reading questions pertained to. It makes me irritated and feel unrewarded for the work I did thinking that was what I actually needed to do. I hope labs are not equally lame this quarter.
And I still have to type up a bunch of responses for my OI lab tonight.
At least I got to read about Muenchner Bier Kategorien today.
But I've got that kink in my back right by my shoulder blade that I always get when I've been working at a desk all day, so I'm going to watch some Gatchaman first.
Eventually I'll stop being irresponsible and get some Minutes together. Hopefully soon.
