MUAH HA HA HA HA!
Jun. 2nd, 2006 01:00 pmLast night I snuck downstairs and pimped out Neil's bike girly-style, with pink and purple metallic steamers and those snap-on spoke things, also in glorious purple and fuchsia, from the dollar bin at Target.
Neil leaves this morning, I act normally, take a few more bites of his leftover chicken pasta (such yummy chicken!) then open my window just as he walks his bike out, steamers fluttering in the breeze and sparkling in the sunlight.
Me: Nice bike, Neil!
Neil (from the courtyard): This is awesome! Who pimped my ride?? Was it you?
Me: I wouldn't know...
Neil: Thanks!
Me: You're welcome.
And now, we interrupt your regularly scheduled LJ-post to bring you
Things Cat Learned at the U of C (4)!
( Take dirt, bake under direct equatorial sunlight for a couple millenia, and WHAM you get ...GOLD? )
Brought to you by Procrastination and Failing Out of Alchemy Class.
Pocky secured for Officers' Send Off.
I need to write about 20 emails to various people... like today.
Work on my obentou paper progresses, slowly but surely. I have a lot in my head, I'm just not sure how to get it all on paper, ya know?
Working on arranging a visit to Becca... found one BA advisor, still working on the Anth one... looks like I'll have to go full-time both quarters next year because my financial aid caviats actually make it more expensive to take fewer classes.
Still need to work out the details of the new lease and roommates... like when our phone will stop, if Eric needs to drop some stuff here, selling some of my books to make room for next year... but, otherwise, next week is looking busy, but doable.
