catastrophyOk, so apparently Jeremy actually made decisions (for once!) and just kinda forgot to mention them to me.
(Well, ok, so he did call and we ended up talking about it anyway...but, hey! That doesn't count!)
So, the plan is to have New Years in Chicago... the smaller details are still resolving themselves... as to whether Dad or Jeremy is taking me to C-land and when. Well, half-when. It's (according to parental standards) too late by the time we get back to WL for Jeremy (or anybody in their right mind) to be driving, esp if the roads get all snowy, which we won't know until... like that day. Oy..
Soooo, looks like I'm heading out the 31st regardless.
To be truthful, I'd much rather ride/drive with Jeremy... but then, it's also hours out of his way... I could drive from WL to Chicago for him... but he's still gaining net hours of driving time.. and I could drive for my Dad...
Bleh... although I'd much rather drive for Jeremy than for my Dad
(I'm such a horrible daughter!)
*shrug*
Everything could get dumped upsidedown still though, cus Dad hasn't talked about the ride situation with the Mother yet.

I love my family, but....
they're boring.
And....
my family...
Yet again it's the dilemma (Two lemons = a problem!) of "Yes, well, I'm kinda trying to get a life going for myself now..." and "Yes, you're my family, I should spend time with you because I'm not going to be seeing you much"
Of late, the former has been winning out in my head..
and I guess it has since like... before my senior year of highschool.
I was just, ready to go... I still have that feeling.
Poppa is ready to go to sleep... so I should go.
