This morning has been an exceedingly crappy morning.
Alarm went off, I felt fuck tired still, so I clicked 15 more minutes and tried to go back to sleep. My efforts were thwarted by Jeremy rolling on, and summarily squishing, me every couple of minutes, even though I tried to push him back to a comfortable (read: breathable) distance. I swear, sleeping people weigh more...
So I got up, someone was showering, so I couldn't put my contacts in. I tried to manipulate small objects, failing miserably and dropping them on the floor...and then I had to find them again. (Cat 0 - Sleepy Stupor 1) At which point I decided to use my old-prescription glasses so I could get dressed. Now, this morning I was unusually groggy, combine that with the fact that these glasses are like 4+ years ago prescription, so I function with them, but I couldn't drive or anything, so just finding articles of clothing and trading them for my pjs was an ordeal. Anyhow, I managed to put myself together and get to class barely on time. I did remember to bring Erica a daifuku, so score 1 me. (Cat 1 - Sleepy Stupor 1)
Lecture was OK, and then I went to lab, put down my lunchbox and took off my coat, and much to my puzzlement, could not find where I put my backpack. I had forgotten in the lecture hall...and I totally thought it was on my back the whole way to the pc lab. (Cat 1 - Sleepy Stupor 2) So, I couldn't take notes about how to do the lab, but I did have the lab write up document to put down my calculations in. I'm really hating these labs, and MatLab, because they don't have time to explain what the exercises we're doing mean and we're a week behind the other labs since we didn't meet last Monday so the material is a week behind, and that much harder to parse. And, of course, we're not even done with this lab, so I need to find a pc with MatLab and work on it after class anyway...

I also forgot utensils for my lunch. (Cat 1 - Sleepy Stupor 3)

On the bright side, I did see a fluppy (=fluffy/floppy puppy) in a sweater on campus.

And I am disappointed to report that "Coca-Cola Cherry," despite it's fancy use of full-name and adjective following noun structure, does not taste any better than Cherry Coke.

Fin.

I'm sorry I squished you... I didn't mean to, I was... I was dead at the time.

I hope you feel better, baby...

*big hugs*
*but not too big to squish you* ;-)

I know. You really do sleep like the dead.

Now I'm having visions of bad horror flicks:

"Night of the Sleeping Dead!"
*terror... no, wait... what?*

I remember seeing what must have been Coca-Cola Cherry in Hutch and thinking, "Huh, they changed the packaging." I just figured it was Cherry Coke in a redesigned bottle. Have they stopped making Cherry Coke?

Black Cherry Vanilla Coke...

Not only does it have more adjetives in the name but it also has more ingredients. I've yet to take a stance on whether I like it or not but you might try it. It's definatly unique.

As for the sleepy zombieness i'm there with you this moring! I feel like i'm doing that Indiana to Texas drive and i'm at about Joplin Missouri! epp... I can barely function...and to think I drove on I-35 like this. If you figured out a way to shake it off let me know!

Not as cool as Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper.

Oh, and Jeremy and I saw this (http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/01/25/159228) Texas thing on slashdot...

Well, I got it in Cobb Coffee Shop, and they had Cherry Coke cans right next to the Coca-Cola Cherry...

aww...only texas will you find such an extremist canidate make it all the way to the election. He won't ever be elected though. We Texas like our Dr. Pepper too much, and that 10% tax on softdrinks would really hurt us. Ooo and you know that other stuff is important too. *snickers*

Weird. What could possibly be the difference? I can't even find Coca-Cola Cherry on their web site.
