catastrophy: (yukino no me)
[personal profile] catastrophy
At 4 to midnight Jeremy brought the smell of roses and babie's breath and Ribs 'n Bibs BBQ chicken and the taste of extra-bitter dark chocolate.
Now he's softly snoring on the bed.
It is a good birthday (not)present. Flowers and food don't count as 'presents'. They get to be freely given w/o breaking 'no presents' rules.
Or, rather, that's what I said a year or two ago so that I could get him something without getting in trouble... and it seems to have stuck. Which reminds me, has anyone seen my clothes-husband?

I also got a phone message with Becca, which cheered me up. Today (er, yesterday...) sucked in terms of work, scheduling, appetite, and stress. So I want you guys to know I love you both very much. <3

Later there will be skit meeting, and Indian dinner double date with C+R. So, I will be doing something for my bday proper.
I'm also having Ppeennaanngg cravings though, so maybe sometime this next week I should try to convince somebody to go there with me as well.

I have that 'Alcohol' song in my head, which lead me to discover yet another song/album, Stunt, that has mysteriously disappeared out of my iTunes yet is still in the iTunes music folder... Unless I'm removing things from my playlist in my sleep, I don't how they're disappearing. But every other week or so, I'll want to listen to a song, discover it (or a whole album) missing and have to add it back. I'm at a loss to explain it, any likely theories?

Well, guess that's it for now. Unless I feel like indulging in some self-pity and dread of the near future and next year, which I don't, cus it's getting old... so
"Happy birthday to me" and bedtime
