Ah, oranges

Oranges are just about my favorite thing about visiting Poppa in FL.
The orange grove up the road has the most fabulous navel oranges, and they make fresh squeezed OJ <3

In other news, my mom, lil' sis, and I went shopping for shoes (I know! How unlike me!) and I have discovered that when you go shopping with absolutely no expectations, that things seem to work out pretty well.
(I also had fun just putting on shoe after shoe and running around the store)
So, now I have shoes to replace my brown ones that I always wear, and my one pair of black dress shoes with the failing strap, and by coincidence, a new pair of flipflops to replace the pair that broke. Overall a rather unexpected success.

Today we take Anna over to the Anime Nation store...and otherwise, nothing.

Weather in FL is finally nice today---We have SUN!!!
But, I'd trade it all to be back in Chicago with Jeremy and my roomies, and za kyitties!

Bad, Cat, bad!

We went to Anime Nation today...
and I bought things...
because they were pretty...
*sniff*
Sushu! We are compatriots in impulse-purchase crime!! T_T

But, now I have a 2005 calendar
(and some Choco-marshmellow snacks)
(and volume 5 of Confidental Confessions because I haven't seen that title since I borrowed vol. 1 from the Library)
^^;;

Experienced minor panic in the car after we got some meat for dinner tomorrow at Albertson's (local grocery chain) when I discovered one of my earrings was missing. But when I thought about it, it didn't seem like I had had it on all morning, so I just hoped and prayed it was back in the guest bedroom...

and it was! It was hiding under the corner of my pillow.
and I am much relieved, because Jeremy gave this pair to me and I would feel like so much crap if I lost one already...

Tonight we had brussel sprouts
(Sushu, Alexis, they were so tasty! Honestly, you don't know what you're missing!)
