Let me just say, that when you want to say 'I visited my boyfriends' parents over winter break' it pays to say 御両親 (parents) and not 御主人 (husband)...
Ie. 冬休みに彼氏の御両親に寄りました。 vs. 冬休みに彼氏の御主人に寄りました。
Eh heh heh... バカ ^^;;
In lighter news, Day 1 of classes has been completed. I celebrate by downloading more wallpaper, and letting Goma sleep on my lap as the temperature of my right hand drops to icy levels because it's a foot closer to the window than the rest of me.
EA Civ dicussion section with Miho appears promising.
Another quarter of quirky reading response papers and Miho's amazing BS to insight conversion power!
Possibly still missing one book, will have to double check my masterlist.
Rapidly running out of room on my bookshelf.... I thought it would last longer!
Had to get up so early for Japanese this morning... The sad thing is, I woke up before the alarm, really. I was just tired and didn't want to get out of bed, or move away from my warm Jeremy, who didn't have to get for another hour.... even Jono was still asleep! I mean, really! And of course, I was having some crack dream... but I can't remember it... it had something to do with something I've read recently... but I just couldn't tell you what.
I wonder how this quarter will work now that Jeremy's back.
I had a whole routine down last quarter... now, I have this hour between my first class and my second every day... and I just don't know what to do with it. Today I went to get my tuitino refund check (Yay! My bank account is $1,131.99 happier! Money for rent/groceries = goodness) and picked up the last 3 books for my ANTH/PSYC/LING/GNDR class that refused to be found on Amazon... but the next 10 weeks... I'm gonna have to find something. I could still go to the Rey. Club lounge... but I don't really have a reason to read the papers and look for things to send to Jeremy---him being back in the country an' all---though I suppose they would still combat boredoom. And for the same reason, no reason to muck around with webmail, or to make international phone calls on the gray campus phones across from Uncle Joe's.
I am so looking forward to Anime Club! I get to sit with Jeremy again finally!
(歩こう、歩こう! 私は元気!
歩く大好き! ドンドン 行こう!)
And if you haven't, you definitely need to listen to "Nunavut" by Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie. <3
