I now officially know someone from each of the Ai Ki Do clubs.
Jono from Ai Ki Kai, Jonathan from Ko Ki Kai, and Sabir (who just started at the OI) from Gen Ki Kai.
And they all want me to come to their respective Ai Ki Do clubs, and insist that they have nothing against the competing clubs.
(Yeah, right!)
I've determined that the only possibly way this could work would be to attend each of the clubs, else none. And I'm lazy, and my heart officially belongs to JAS.
Even if professed interest in anime is waning in the hearts of some...*cough Jono cough cough Jeremy*
Fear not, oh Prez, my Prez!! I will not abandon you!!! *eyes tearing with fervor*
In other equally geeky news, I have begun to paint Jeremy's army for WH40K, starting with a Cannoness, and the outlook is promising. For it being my first figure, it's turning out pretty well. I'm making it silver-armored with (at Jeremy's request) turquoise robes, and the armor is looking great. The turquoise will have to stand the test of highlighting to see if we keep it for the rest of the army.
Warning: ( squeeing ahead )
Tonight Jeremy has demanded that we go out to a restaurant because he misses them. (It's been like a week since we've eaten out because we went on a huge grocery trip which enabled us to eat food in the house!! *gasp* We might also go to a show, if not today then sometime this week, because he hates paying the Daley tax without taking advantage of Chicago. I'm in a Too Much Light mood, but I guess some other kind of show in a real theater would be cool too... I've never actually been to see a show in that big theater downtown...just to comedy shows in clubs... You know, I don't even know the name of that theater. Um, the Chicago Theater or something? ...maybe? ^^;;
Jono and Jeremy are talking about the "relational database paradigm"..... whatever that is. Ah, I <3 nerds. Especially mine.
