hot date, hot employment
Feb. 20th, 2008 02:37 pmJeremy and I had our hot combination-hair-dying-birthday-and-valentine's date on Saturday.
Jeremy wore his pin stripe pants and put his hair up in a ponytail, and even wore the new green dress shirt I picked out for him at JC Penny's.
I wore my white dress with the balck bow from Mervyn's (and no bra) with black tights and my velvet loafer flats.
Jeremy drank ale that tasted more like coffee and chocolate mixed with something you use to remove paint.
I drank raspberry lambic beer in an unbelievably skinny glass with gold scrollwork and tiny fruits.
After dinner we strolled along Pacific, partly to dispel the buzz for the drive home and partly so I could oggle things in window displays and hang on Jeremy's arm.
It was lovely, so we've decided to do it again sometime.
And, tomorrow I'm starting another temp assignment. This time at Seagate, for their legal department. I'll be mooching rides off of Lance in exchange for the pleasure of my company at lunch. It will be short, only a couple weeks. But that's fine by me.
Still chasing down some tax documents. Still loving my weekly gaming group.
Plans for the near future include visiting the library to find the third Song of Ice and Fire book, going to work and getting paid, watching Charlie and Lola once it arrives from Amazon, and making cupcakes.
Tempered with perhaps some soul-searching about grad school, mild panic about starting a cosplay for Acen, and reveling the joy that is sending and receiving packages full of goodies.
