Lately I've been pondering the idea of doing a recording of a book reading.
I'm not sure if I had the idea after listening to Neil Gaiman's reading of The Graveyard Book or from fond memories of reading books aloud with Sushu and Jono on our recent travels.
I thought I might record myself reading something for my nieces and nephew, but that idea seems less relevant now.
I've enjoyed reading many books, and having different sorts of books read to me. My mother read Mary Poppins stories to us when I was young, Jono read Godel, Escher, Bach to Sushu and I on the Grand Canyon trip, Sushu read Devil in the White City to me on the return flight from ACen. But, I'm not sure what book to read, or how I should record it.

Maybe I should read a book I've enjoyed many times and would like to share with my friends. One of the Dune novels, perhaps. Or maybe an anthropology book of sorts. I can't make up my mind.
