I'm going to be an aunt.

Again.

Nina's going to have another baby, circa Februrary 21st.

This is cool but not as mindblowing as her first pregnancy. More just, happy. I love Sean to pieces, so another nephew/nice will be awesome too. More baby to go around. I guess I worry about Nina having two kids now though... but, I suppose many many women have kids just a couple years apart (my momma included) and things work out. So... awesome! Aunt x2!!

Ah, my neighbors across the hall's kitties, Fez and Cleo.
They were darling, and Jeremy doesn't mind as long as the cats and their hair stay in their house.

Which kinda throws a wrench in my plans to knit a cathair sweater from Fez's luxurious fur....but hey, that's what love's all about.

(Buying alpaca sweaters instead.)
Btw... I ran out of Sluggy to read T_T
And I tried to make your meatball with bamboo soup thingy... and it turned out mostly right, except that I put in too many vermicelli noodles and used a little too much cornstarch and not quite enough liquid in the meatballs...

Soon we will expiriment with all the wonton wrappers you left us.

Ah, my meatball soup meatballs actually have almost no cornstarch in them. Just salt, garlic (powder), rice wine, and lots of water. Okay, there's a little corn starch, but mostly it's to hold the water together. You have to add so much water that it's "sloshy", but not "swimming in water". You and your vermicelli-love. <3

wontons are ridiculously easy. Get 1 block of frozen cut-leaf spinach and chop that up. Add to 1 lb of ground pork (+salt, garlic powder, rice wine, smidgeon of cornstarch). And then, yanno, wrap it.
